Our Organic Basil essential oil type methyl chavicol (estragol) is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and the flowering tops of Ocimum basilicum grown in Egypt.

Odor: spicy, aromatic

Appearance: pale yellow to yellow clear liquid

Methyl chavicol: 70-85%

linalool: < 5%

1,8 Cineol: 1-6%

Methyleugenol: <5%

Limonene; < 1%
